The Bundaberg region is “where great begins!”
Great beaches, great climate, great fishing and wildlife, great food and local produce and where the Southern Great Barrier Reef begins! The Bundaberg Port Marina is ideally situated within walking distance from the relaxed coastal township of Burnett Heads. The township offers a modern shopping village with an IGA supermarket, bakery, post office, chemist and hairdressers.
The Lighthouse Hotel/Motel and the Bluewater Sports Club are great places to “quench your thirst” and enjoy a night out after a day out on the boat. All three options provide courtesy bus pick up and drop off to patrons at the marina. The city of Bundaberg is only 15 minutes from the marina and the Bundaberg Airport now has both Virgin Australia and Qantas flying directly to and from Brisbane daily.
The Bundaberg Port Marina is an official “Port of Entry” clearance facility for inbound and outbound visitors. The Bundaberg Port Marina, for the last four years, has consecutively cleared more international vessels than any other Port of Entry in Australia. The easy, deep-water, all-weather entrance that the Port of Bundaberg offers to visitors, day or night, is one of the many factors that has contributed to this increasing influx of yachts each year to the Coral Coast.
