Bundaberg Port Hardstand’s new Marine Travelift is ready to go!
August saw the arrival of our new 75 tonne Travelift arrive. The machine replaces our previous 70 tonne machine that has served us well over the last 10 years. The machine comes with a number of additional features that will make your haul out experience that little bit better. Here are a few features of the new machine:
Sling Adjusts provide the ability to adjust each sling’s position to improve sling load placement and avoid stabilizers or other sensitive elements on the vessel’s hull.
Hoist 2-block systems are designed so that 100% of the available travel height can be used. The operator can hoist up until the very top without any chance of damage.
Marine Travelift’s Articulated Pivot Trunnion relieves any structural stress that may be caused during operation of the boat hoist on uneven ground surfaces.
Beam Formed Structure is more rigid than box-type designs for reduced fatigue and a longer life for the machine.
316 Stainless Steel Tubing with platted bolts and Zinc covered pins mean our fasteners and tubing resist corrosion in a harsh marine environment.
Lebus Grooves on the hoisting drums reduce wear on the wire rope by eliminating wire crossing.
Easy Access Engine compartment is made of fiberglass to eliminate corrosion and reduce noise. All routine maintenance points are easy to access.
These are just a few reasons the Bundaberg Port Marina went for the Marine Travelift to service our hardstand customers.
